OTHER WORK
Canon PIXMA Picture It
Canon's Picture It Facebook app celebrates the signature filter effects of PIXMA products. Users choose one of six looking lenses and upload their pictures to see them warped into fun images. They also can pick one of six monsters and insert pictures into The Monsterizer storybook. The creations can be combined in a Facebook album and shared in the newsfeed.

HoodieBuddie New Favorite
An instant giveaway of a hot new product needed an outlet in Facebook. The New Favorite Thing app lets users compare their old favorite possession to a HoodieBuddie. After uploading a picture via desktop, Facebook or webcam, they add some fun details and then receive a comparison matchup with a hoodie. Afterwards they receive a discount code for free gear.

MTVHive Live in NYC
In a collaboration of several teams, HYFN created a splash page for Subway and MTVHive's presentation of Two Door Cinema Club Live in NYC. While watching the live stream of the concert, users could log in to the adjacent chat module via Twitter, Facebook or MySpace. They also had the option of having their comments automatically post to their profile pages.
Presented by Subway FreshBuzz
Kia Myth Busters
To showcase the all-new Optima Hybrid, Kia wanted a simple quiz app to engage visitors. After answering each question on myths about hybrid vehicles, users could share the app on their Facebook wall with copy highlighting that particular information. The challenge friends option was a custom feature that allowed the selection of multiple friends for the invite.

Excedrin Migraine Center
This tab application on the Excedrin Facebook page served as the hub for all things related to its migraine medicine. Users could submit questions, grab a coupon or migraine symptom diary, watch a live chat with Jennie Garth, and enter vacation sweepstakes. After the contest finished, it was replaced by a section for sending holiday eCards by posting on friends' walls.

Bad Santa Photo Contest
The Miramax Experience's Baddest Santa On Campus Photo Contest aimed to capitalize on the social networking of fun-loving college kids. The tab application pulled in pictures of students posing with Bad Santa from the movie's Facebook page. Visitors could tag themselves in the pictures for a chance to win prizes, as well as vote on the best ones.

I Don’t Know How She Does It
To promote the release of the movie starring Sarah Jessica Parker as a working mother juggling daily demands, this Facebook app features a game tying into the theme. Users have 45 seconds to catch as many icons falling down the screen as possible. Afterwards they can click to buy movie tickets and share their score on Twitter or their Facebook wall.

McKinney Rogers
For the global consulting firm McKinney Rogers, HYFN built the company website to detailed specs on the .NET platform. The technology greatly simplifies translating the site into any language. Substantial front-end work was needed to match the provided designs, and iPad compatibility for the video accordion was added before deployment.
In partnership with Colangelo
Johnston & Murphy
Where Have Your J&M's Been? was a photo upload contest on the Johnston & Murphy Facebook page. Each week users could submit photos, which they voted on the following week for prizes. A moderation system allowed the client to monitor the photo gallery. The sortable archive, which remains a tab on the J&M page, allows visitors to share particular photos.

Shout: Jennie Finch
Preeminent softball star Jennie Finch offers life lessons for parents in this app for the Shout brand. Both the lessons and videos sections are controlled via the CMS. The Twitter module pulls in tweets that include a particular hashtag, and to further user engagement, visitors have the option to ask Jennie a question and have it featured on the app.

Lady Antebellum Microsite
The Lady Antebellum Own The Board microsite featured an engaging game to promote the Grammy award-winning group's new album. The site, which runs on Ruby on Rails, revealed a daily clue for users to find another clue word somewhere on the internet. In addition to daily prizes, solving the ultimate puzzle earned a chance to see the band in Nashville.

William Kimball Website
Artist websites need to be packed with features and easy to update with new content. Musician William Kimball's site is built on the Wordpress platform with a plethora of custom enhancements. The photos and videos sections employ a sleek player, and an audio module is pinned to the top to keep the emphasis on the music.

Holistic Select Ad Contest
Holistic Select needed a star for its national ad campaign. Well, two of them actually. In the Pet-Wise Parent Casting Call Facebook app, users submitted a picture of themselves with their pet and customized copy to create their ad. Visitors could vote on the ads, and the grand prize winner earned a spot in the campaign plus a 10-year supply of pet food.

Your One Day
The premise of the Anne Hathaway movie One Day is a 20-year relationship seen through the lens of a single day: July 15. HYFN built a Facebook app -- launched on July 15 -- that allows users to choose their one day. Then the app pulls posted pictures and status updates through the years from that day to create a snapshot.

Bounce
The clients are prestigious, the circumstances grand, and the attendees A-list. The Bounce website is powered by a fully customized Wordpress CMS to manage many types of content and includes the ability to attach videos, PDFs and images to case study articles. A neat implementation was enabling the swiping feature on iOS devices for the galleries.

Taylor Swift AIR App
Fittingly for a global star like Taylor Swift, HYFN built a universal desktop application not dependent on browser or operating platform. The Taylor Swift AIR app gives users a home base for all things Taylor: tours, news, blog posts, videos, music and photos. It also pulls in her tweets and pops a notification on the desktop when a new one is posted.
Adobe AIR App
Manask
For its consulting and hospitality businesses, Manask had a wealth of content to present. HYFN used Ajax, HTML/CSS, JavaScript and PHP to build the dual websites. On the back end, multiple CMS's were integrated with code-igniter functionality. This enables the client to refresh content for such as testimonials, case studies and FAQs for both sites.
Dual websites powered by CMS
New Boyz Tag That Site
Album releases are obviously huge milestones for artists, but there are a lot of artists out there and a lot of releases. Generating strong buzz requires some ingenuity. Powered by Aviary’s screen-capture technology and HTML toolset, the New Boyz Tag That Site allows users to pick any website and employ a variety of editing tools to put their artistic touch on it.

Starburst: MTV Unplugged
Delivering an integrated social experience in real time, the Starburst Unplugged Facebook app streams live debut performances from the MTV series.
